We have begun harvesting plants. So far we have harvested collards, lettuce, broccoli, mustard greens, kale, rhubarb chard, swiss chard, arugula and sage. This year we are weighing our produce to keep records of the lbs. of food that we grow. Natalie bought ladybugs to release into the garden since they eat the harmful insects like aphids. We have planted all of the seedlings that were delivered. Slowly, the plants are growing. Thus far we have harvested arugula from both locations since they were beginning to bolt. With the increasing heat, the necessity to water increases so we water twice a day on work days and various members of the team come on off days and weekends. Here are some pictures of Morris Ave. :
